Accessing Your Voice mail Box

You need to know your extension number and PIN to access your voice mail box. You will find your extension on the top right hand corner of your Cisco IP phone.

  • From a District phone
Dial 3914
When your call is answered, you will be prompted for your ID. This is your four digit voice mail box or extension.
You will then be prompted for your PIN. This is the password you have set on your voice mail box.
  • From off-site or cell phones
Dial (303) 657-3914
When your call is answered, you will be prompted for your ID. This is your four digit voice mail box or extension.
You will then be prompted for your PIN. This is the password you have set on your voice mail box.


Checking Messages by Phone

The same commands you use on your Cisco phone in the district may also be used from a cell or off-site phone.

Check a message

  • Step 1: Access your voice mail box
  • Step 2: Press 1 to hear new messages
or
Press 3 to hear old messages. Then, press 1 to hear saved messages.
  • Step3: Use the following keys to control playback as you listen to message.

Setting up Voice Mail Box

The following are the steps to set up a voice mail box from a previous owner. Remember the following terms (ID) is the 4 digit extension number; and (PIN) is the password the default password is 5260.

  1. Access the voice mail system by dialing 3914 or 303-657-3914.
  2. When your call is answered, you will be prompted for your ID. This is your four digit voice mail box or extension.
  3. You will then be prompted for your PIN (the default is 5260).
  4. The system will say your PIN has expired and prompt you for a new PIN.
  5. Input your new Pin number followed by #, then input your new PIN again followed by #.
  6. At the prompt press 4 for setup options, press 3 for personal setting, press 2 change recorded name, record your name.
  7. Press * until you return to Setup Options or hang up and do steps 1 through 4 again.
  8. At the prompt press 1 for Greetings, at the prompt press 1 for Change greetings, re-record the standard greeting. Be sure to request the information you will need from the caller.
